Xenophon, (430-c.354 BC) Athenian peer of Plato and fellow student of Socrates, is known for his philosophical writings including Anabasis, Cyropoedia, and Memorobilia. Xenophon wrote extensively on the domestic economy in his Economist and defined the duties of a wife therein (the overseer of the home and children) and marriage as a “partnership ordained by the gods. ”Aristotle makes a distinction between use and exchange”. He believes people need to exchange goods to acquire the things they need; he believes that people who exchange goods simply to acquire a surplus of money is non virtuous. He wanted to identify how the value of goods can be determined when they are in a bundle.

Answer: Civilization is: the formation of a highly complex and organized group of people. A key in the development of a civilization is the creation of cities. Civilization (or civilization) comes from the Latin word civis meaning someone who lives in a town. The Romans usually wanted conquered people to live in towns. When people are civilised, they have learned from the wisdom, skill and knowledge gained over centuries of human progress. The opposite of civilization is sometimes said to be entropy, barbarity, rudeness, or animal-like behavior. A civilization is generally an advanced stage of organisation. That means it has laws, culture, a regular way of getting food and protecting the people. Most civilizations have agriculture, and a system of government like monarchs or elections. They speak a common language, and usually have a religion of some kind. They teach their young the knowledge they need. All civilizations since the Sumerians and the Egyptians have had some kind of writing. This is because writing lets people store and build up knowledge. To we humans what matters is our personal and individual security, fulfillment and happiness. Therefore, the purpose of civilization must be to promote and achieve that goal. The six most important characteristics of a civilization are cities, government, religion, social structure, writing, and arts and architecture. Sumer, located in Mesopotamia, is the first known complex civilization, developing the first city-states in the 4th millennium BCE. It was in these cities that the earliest known form of writing, cuneiform script, appeared around 3000 BCE.
