Seasons and weather
Read and translate the text
There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter.
In winter it is very cold in the north and warm in the south. In winter it often snows. Spring is a very pleasant season of the year. The weather is warm, sometimes it rains. Summer is a pleasant season too. It is the time for different kinds of sport. Many people have their vacations in summer.
Autumn is a very beautiful season. The leaves on the trees are red, yellow and brown. It often rains. There are 365 or 366 days in a year. There are twelve months in a year: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December. There are four weeks in a month and seven days in a week. The names of a days are: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. All the days of the week except Sunday are weekdays. Sunday is the day off. Saturday is the day off for many people too. The parts of the day are: morning, afternoon, evening and night. There are 24 hours in a day, sixty minutes in an hour, sixty seconds in a minute.

Positive: SUBJECT + USED TO + DO + DEPENDANTS
Rule: Used to modal fe’lidan keyin harakat fe’llari (physical action verbs) ishlatiladi va bu holatda used to modal fe’li o’tgan zamonda odatiy, doimiy takrorlanib bajarilib turgan, ammo hozirgi kunda bajarilmaydigan, faqat eslanadigan ish-harakatlarni ifodalash uchun qo’llanadi.
I used to play tennis a lot but I rarely play it now. Ilgari ko’p tennis o’ynardim, lekin hozir o’ynamayman.
Diana used to travel a lot. These days she doesn’t go away. Diana ilgari ko’p sayohat qilardi. Hozir u sayohatga chiqmaydi.
