Regulation
A new rule was introduced in 2008, stating that there will be two champions each year corresponding to the winners of the two tournaments played during the season, the Apertura (or "Opening Tournament) and Clausura (Closing Tournament). This replaces the old system in which the Paraguayan Football Association divided its championships into two sections, the Torneo Apertura and Torneo Clausura. The winners of each tournament staged a playoff to decide each year's national champion. If the same team won both stages, it automatically won the national championship. The team with the worst average points over the last three years is automatically relegated to the second division league, and the second-worst team plays a playoff match against the second division runner-up. The winner of the playoff match plays in the first division the following year.

Coach
Libertad – Gregorio Pérez
Gregorio Elso Pérez Perdigón (born 16 January 1948 in Maldonado) was an Uruguayan football (soccer) player, but nowadays, he is a manager. He is widely considered in his country as a respetable person due to his respect to the others and keeping his principles and values despites the result of the game; in fact, he is known as "Don Gregorio". Is important to remark that Gregorio Perez was manager assistant of Oscar Tabarez in 1990 during the participation of the Uruguayan national football team in the 1990 Football World Cup. In his career as coach, he commanded Gimnasia U Esgrima La Plata (ARG), Peñarol (URU), Cagliari (ITA), Danubio (URU), Argentinos Juniors (ARG), olimpia (PAR) and Libertad.
__________________________________________________________________
Coach
Chivas Guadalajara – Jose Luis Real
Jose Luis Real Casillas, also nicknamed as ‘El Guero Real’ (born on June 6
th, 1952) is the currently coach of Chivas Guadalajara. He had already coached two Mexican teams in the first division: Dorados de Sinaloa and Club Deportivo Guadalajara. Jose Luis Real has a record in the Mexican championship with 8 victories in roll in the beginning of a competition. He wants to become champion of the Copa Libertadores with Chivas and make history that never been written before: lead a Mexican team to the Libertadores title. He is in Chivas command since 2009.

Stadium – City
Defensores Del Chaco
Estadio Defensores del Chaco is a multi-purpose stadium in Asunción, Paraguay. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium once had a 50,000+ capacity but over the years the stadium has undergone remodeling dropping the capacity to 36,000. The stadium was opened in 1917 and its first name was "Estadio de Puerto Sajonia" because it was located in the
Sajonia neighborhood in Asunción. After Uruguay won the gold medal in football in 1924, the Paraguayan FA decided to rename the stadium "Uruguay" to honor the South American Nation. Later, the name was reverted back to Estadio Puerto Sajonia. During the Chaco War, the stadium was used as a munitions depot and troop meeting arena. After the war, it was renamed with the current name "Defensores Del Chaco" (Defenders of the Chaco) in honor of the triumphant soldiers that took part in the
Chaco War between
Paraguay and
Bolivia. It underwent renovations during 1939, 1996 and 2007. The stadium is not owned by a team (it is a
National stadium) and it is used primarily to host the home games of the
Paraguay national football team and for international football club tournament games such as the
Copa Libertadores and the
Copa Sudamericana. It also held important matches during the 1999
Copa América, including the final in which
Brazil defeated
Uruguay.

Asunción – Paraguay
Asunción is the capital and largest city of Paraguay. The Asunción metropolitan area has more than 2.8 million inhabitants. It is the home of the national government, principal port, and the chief industrial and cultural centre of the country. Local manufacturing production includes footwear, textiles, and tobacco products. Population is approximately 520,000 people in the city proper.[1] Roughly 30% of Paraguay's 6 million people live within Greater Asunción. Sixty-five percent of the total population in the city is under the age of 30. Asunción features a tropical savanna climate that borders on a humid subtropical climate. Asunción generally has a relatively short dry season that spans from June to September and a wet season that covers the remainder of the year. The climate of Asunción can be described as hot and humid for most of the year. The city is home to the Godoi Museum and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (which contains old paintings from the 19th century), the Church of La Encarnación and the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the National Pantheon of the Heroes, a smaller version of Les Invalides in Paris, where many of the nation's heroes are entombed. Other landmarks include the Palacio de los López, the old Senate building (a modern building opened to house Congress in 2003), the Catedral Metropolitana and the Casa de la Independencia (one of the few examples of colonial architecture remaining in the city).
