PONC Water Training Weekend Information
June2nd thru June 4th 2017
The training will be held in a portion of Pennsylvania's Pymatuning State Park made up of approximately 10 acres adjacent to the dam at the southern end of the lake. Included are one beach, a wooded area, a park pavilion, and a large grassy area. The woods are within 60 feet of the water’s edge and provide great shade for chairs and crates. The primary training site has a sand and gravel beach approximately 80 feet wide and 10‐15 feet deep with a grassy area between the beach and woods. Water depth increases gradually as you move into the lake. There will be a wash area for dogs after training if you wish to use it. Breakfast and lunch will be served under the pavilion. All evening events will be held at the Shangri La campground located just a mile from the training site.
