move in, move out
Move often has the sense of move where you live, to move house. When
someone moves in, they come to live with you,
in
the same house. And
move out is the opposite. When they go
out
of the house for the last time
- when they leave you.
move to
has the same sense of moving house.

Sometimes
off
means 'away from here'. Such as
go off
on a journey, or
set off
on another journey. We use move off to emphasise the movement
itself. For example, when a ship leaves the dock.

has the sense 'from one side to the other'. Such as
pass

(to the world to come) or
put over
an idea from one mind to another.
Move over is more mundane. You sit crowded on a bench seat on the bus
or the metro. 'Move over,' says Mr Fatte. 'I need more space.'
move up
has the same meaning.

move to
