There is a “to deposit” amount of $540 from membership dues. This is part of the current club balance stated above. Of this amount $180 is earmarked for the Lunker of the Year award.
There are currently 26 paid memberships for the club. It is anticipated the first scheduled tournament will see a large signup from members. It was discussed for 2018 to reinstitute the policy of an increased fee for late joiners. This will be taken up in the fall.
Any one desiring to join the club for 2017 is encouraged to download an application for membership from the club website and mail in in prior to the first tournament.
Larry Mayton reported that there is a large “crappie” tournament scheduled for April 29th at Pymatuning. This is the date of our first tournament at the lake. As a result of this conflict the date was changed to Sunday April 30th at the Linesville Ramp. All members concurred with this. This change will be reflected with the posted schedule on the club’s website.
Members were notified that assistance will be needed at the first tournament for Membership Applications and recording of weights at the weigh-in. Members present stated that help will be provided as required.
It was mentioned the KBBC kickoff meeting on Sunday March 12th will have a guest speaker. The topic will be Lowrance electronic equipment.
There will be no scheduled meeting in March. Next scheduled meeting will be held on September 26, 2017 at 7:30 PM at the Bridgeville VFW to begin planning for the annual club award banquet. Any issues arising prior to that will be discussed at our scheduled tournaments.
