The regular meeting of the 2015 Annual Meeting Minutes of Forest Heights Home Owners Association was called to order at 7:09 PM on November 21, 2015 at Vanville Christ Church by Jamie Crowley.
I. Approval of Agenda
The agenda for the meeting was distributed and unanimously approved.
II. Review of Previous Minutes
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and unanimously approved.

How many homes are in the HOA?
Answered by Jamie Crowley: Close to 266 includes 2 homes currently being built.
How many in homes are in foreclosure?
Answered by Jamie Crowley: Unknown. Liens for pass due fees will be recorded starting in December of 2015.

What does the HOA fees go to?
Answered by Jamie Crowley: roads, common areas, snow, and lawn maintenance.
How many homes will have liens recorded for pass due fees?
Answered by Jamie Crowley: about 30
Will requests for snow removal bids be done?
Answered by Jamie Crowley: We will start in Jan 2016. Our current contract was for 2 years and is good through 2016. The current contractor put in the roads. The bulk of the cost goes to salt.
Any holiday activities?
Answer: We have tried in the passed but lacked the volunteer help. The South Berkley FD comes through with Santa. See the local newspaper for date and time.
Any new break-ins?
Answered by Jamie Crowley: No new info. Most of the activities were during the summer. Mark is the contact for a Neighborhood Watch.
How do we control speeders?
Answered by Jamie Crowley: Contact the police. Our roads are private but the police can ticket for reckless driving.
Why are deer an issue this year?
Answered by Jamie Crowley: Its possibly due to more hunting being allowed around the property. Please call DNR if need assistance.
Any issues with skunks?
Answered by Jamie Crowley: Most of the problems are in the front of the neighborhood. The board has no plans to control the population. Trapper companies can assist and can be front in the yellow pages.
Will we spray weed killer this coming year?
Answered by Jamie Crowley: We can see what the cost would be to have that done.
What can be done for extra cars not licensed?
Answered by Jamie Crowley: The Board must receive a written complaint. We then can write a letter to the home owner. If not resolved, the next action would be to take the home owner to court.

Pole Light Budget in Repair/Maintenance

The Board will be voting at the next meeting to decrease the seats on the Board to 7 from 9. This is due to the lack of volunteers to fill the seats.

Decrease the number of Board members from 9 to 7.
