Topic: Unit 4 My school life.
The objective of the lesson:
1Educational:
- to revise classroom language and the days of the week;
- to practice short forms of the days of the week.
- to explain pupils what is the Past Simple Tense.
Developing:
- to enable pupils to recognize the short forms of the weekdays;
- to enable pupils to answer and write sentences and questions in the Past Simple;
Learning outcomes:
By the end of the lesson pupils will be able to:
- recognize the short forms of the weekdays;
- answer and write sentences and questions in the past simple.
Required equipment:
- Pupil’s Book,
- the DVD,
- flashcards: the days of the week
- laptop
- TV or smart-blackboard
- speaker
-additional material handouts
Methods of lesson:
-Direct interactive working with pupils.

Pupils will listen to a song about Days of the Week.
Revise days of the week with teacher by using flashcards
And then sing the song together.

2. Introduction
Focusing student attention on the lesson-asking questions, using visual. Stating the objective, relating the objective to previous learning,

And check the answers with teacher
Then pupils write down ex-se 2b p100

3. Presentation
Introduction of new information by a variety of strategies; visuals, realia, descriptions, explanation, or written text. Instructor checks for student comprehension through new doing? vocabulary- grammar structure-life skill-pronunciation.

Controlling their understanding of the new topic.
Pupils will make some notes on their notebooks

4. Practice
Opportunities to practice the new knowledge are provided. Practice is guided through materials and may be whole group, small group. pairs, or individuals. Instructor models each activity, monitors progress and provides feedback.

5. Evaluation
Evaluation of each student on attainment of lesson objectives. Evaluation can be oral, written or demonstrated performance (projects).
