13. Tracking: Section used to record the following information:

Source: Whether the reservation was made by telephone, fax, e-mail, letter,
or other form of communication
•
Track: Type of guest (business, leisure, or other designated type)
•
ID: Driver’s license number (sometimes required of guests based on hotel
policy)
•
Vehicle: License tag information (sometimes required of guests based on
hotel policy)
•
Geo: State, county, or city
•
Open: Field that may be used by the hotel to collect its own property-specific
information of interest
14. Options: Section that notes the following information:
•
Confirm: Checked if the guest wishes to receive written confirmation of the
reservation. If so, the PMS automatically prints a confirmation letter
addressed to the guest.
•
Exempt: Used for individuals who are exempt from specific hotel taxes
•
VIP: Used to identify very important guests
•
No Post: Used to waive (not post) specific guest charges.
