Technological advances related to services are also significant. In the past,
a hotel employee may have been called on to change a bulb in an overhead pro-
jector. Today, that same employee may need to connect multiple computers to
a digital display board to allow multiscreen projection of a PowerPoint presen-
tation. Those that manage and train employees to service the meetings busi-
ness must continually increase their skill levels.
