Reservation Activity Reports
FOMs can learn much from reports of anticipated future revenue represented by
hotel reservations that have been made. Reservation activity reports can generally be
sorted by the PMS according to any item of information obtained during the reser-
vation process. This includes data about the individual making the reservation and
information about the distribution channel or method used to make the reservation.
Some of the most frequently generated reservation reports are listed here:

Total reservations made today
•
Total reservations canceled today
•
Total reservations changed today
•
Complimentary reservations made and authorized
•
Group reservations made today
•
Reservations by package offered
•
Reservations by rate plan
•
Reservations by market type (e.g., transient, corporate, and group)
