CURRENT CONDITIONS OF THE PROJECT
 
On the basis of orders, the leadership of the Ministry of Transport of the 
Republic of Tajikistan (from 13.03.2013, No 2 (6.1) -160) in pursuance 
of paragraph 23 of the decision of the Government of the Republic of 
Tajikistan 
№
82 2-March 2013, was created the commission for studying 
route of “Rushon – Basid – Savnob road in Rushan district” The com-
mission is included representatives of the Ministry of Transport, State 
Unitary Enterprise "Research Design and Survey Institute," The Minis-
try of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan and representatives of lo-
cal government (Hukumat) of Rushan district GBAO. In order to pre-
vent an accident, the commission has made visual inspection of bridges

and roads, and on the basis, prepared an investment project of Rushan 
Basid-Savnob road. 
According with the condition and existing classification, road, 
generally has a number of shortcomings, the main of them are: 
1) Low technical parameters of the road, influencing on traffic ca-
pacity and road safety (the width of road bed is 4-5 m); 
2) Unsatisfactory condition of the road pavement and structures; 
3) Existing bridges in the road with limited load-carrying capacity 
and low size.

For the final definition of the volume of works and cost of the con-
struction it is necessary to develop Feasibility study with implementa-
tion of the complex of geodesic, geologic and hydrologic works.
