Zaključek
“What is emergency department (ED) ultrasound all about?
An ultrasound probe in the hands of the clinician is the stethoscope of the 21st century. It is noninvasive; it
is safe; and when used appropriately, it can be another tool with which to perform certain focused aspects of
the physical examination.”
Kendall, Bakes (23)
pomembno izboljšuje in nadgrajuje sistematični ABCDE pristop in zaporedje dodatnih postopkov
specifičnih znakov in postopkov. Ultrazvok v rokah urgentnega zdravnika rešuje življenja!
