1. Without financial support, many students who want to go to
university have no other way to fulfill their dreams, + those who work
and study will have worse results.
Many learners are unable to pay for their university education,
even though they really want degrees.
Even when students can afford to pay for university, they often
have to take out loans and work part-time to pay for their living
costs.
This can severely affect grades and future career development.
It can also leave them with large debts to pay when they finish
studying.
2. Educating the population is a long-term investment into the
future of any country. No country can prosper without an educated
population.
For example, taxpayers' money is misused by the government
on initiatives like space exploration.
If a country can’t educate its population, there is no sense in
investing large amounts of money into ambitious space
projects.
A more sensible distribution of government funds could allow
many students to fulfill their dreams.
More educated society, which would benefit the country as a
whole for many years (to come).
