oversight of healthcare facilities and medical technology e-commerce is especially
needed in Russia.
People are becoming information literate, but most of the advertised products
and devices are the product of the careful work of marketers to make the customer
want to purchase them as soon as possible. Therefore, it’s necessary to clearly
separate goods that will really affect human health, helping him, from those that will
be useless or harmful for him.
Thus, the commercialization of medicine has changed the attitude of people
towards it. People are increasingly interested in its capabilities in order to get rid of
ailments, improve their health. However, there is also a downside, which is expressed
in the trend of "commercialization of health" in the economy of market relations,
where a person becomes not a real patient who needs to be cured, then let go, but a
real client. The state is closely connected with medical institutions. Most developed
countries showed, that it was found that private companies funded by insurance
provide health care services. In this case, healthcare facilities may work and interact
with other healthcare companies and corporations that produce related products for
marketing to customers. So, the patient becomes a hostage to the system, which
offers to buy the necessary medicine, promoted by a specific pharmaceutical
company [3].
Another aspect reveals, that the problem of marketing relations is closely
related to the development of modern technologies and media resources. Nowadays,
the trend of a healthy lifestyle is becoming relevant, which has allowed many
companies and corporations to create products that will help "cure" ailments. Access
to the Internet allows anyone to find the necessary medicine or dietary supplement, as
well as order goods by delivery, sometimes even a doctor's prescription is not
required. Such opportunities can negatively affect the health of a person who will
self-medicate.
Thus, the development of marketing relations has reached its height with the
help of digitalization and globalization, changing the relationship between medical
institutions and society in Russia. Unfortunately, there is such a tendency that drugs
are becoming a mass product that can be used by people unnecessarily. As noted
above, public health is one of the most important intangible assets that affects the
socio-economic development of countries as a whole.
