The limits of the growth of modern civilization are determined by education, its
quality and availability. In the context of the growing dynamics of the practice of social
and economic transformation requires the use of new forms of education and social
adaptation, optimization of state interests and individuality in the emerging knowledge
society. The leading principle of the state policy in the field of higher education in
Uzbekistan is the state support of educational, scientific, technological and innovative
activities of higher education institutions and, if necessary, the principle of financial
independence.
Innovative processes in the education system provide a change in the educational
process and a person-centered trend, so that students' knowledge, skills and abilities
become a means of developing their knowledge and personal qualities, competencies.
Education and science are deeply ingrained in the economy, social life, and have
a significant impact on the quality of living standards and the opportunities for
sustainable development of a particular country and the international community in
general.
It is known that innovations are theoretically based, goal-oriented and practical.
Any innovation requires a high level of emotionality and intelligence. It is for these
reasons that innovation in education is slowly making its way. The learning process in
higher education institutions, as we have seen, requires innovative practice not only to
engage the learner in an active dialogue with the teacher, but also to be active and
proactive in understanding the world.
According to the National Encyclopedia of Uzbekistan, innovation has the
following content and concepts: “Innovation (Eng: “innovationas” – introduced
innovation, invention) – 1) funds spent on the economy to ensure the replacement of
equipment and technology generations; 2) innovations in the field of engineering,
technology, management and organization of labor, based on scientific and technical
achievements and best practices, as well as their application in various fields and
activities”[3, 169-b].
As Sh.Mirziyoev pointed out in his Address to the Nation on the priorities of
socio-economic development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2018, summing up the
main work done in 2017, which is a new stage of our development, said: “If we start
building our great future today, we must start it on the basis of innovative ideas,
innovative approaches. That is why we have established the Ministry of Innovative
Development and set specific tasks for it. We believe that this ministry will play a
unique locomotive role not only in the economic sphere, but also in the implementation

of the most important projects in the life of society as a whole. In the coming year, we
will focus on the development of research and innovation, the mobilization of the
necessary financial resources, the full support of talented young people in this process,
creative ideas and developments” [2, 88-b].
Innovative approaches in today's modern education system are primarily aimed
at changing the human factor, and the main goal of the reforms, which cover a wide
range of aspects of personal development, is to further improve the system of education
and upbringing of young people. Indeed, “since the beginning of human consciousness,
the issue of education and upbringing has always been relevant” [1, 224-b].
What do we mean by an innovative approach to education? How should
innovative education be organized? It will be appropriate to answer such questions in
the following way.
Innovation
in the general sense (translated as “innovationas”) means the
introduction of perfect, new, unprecedented technologies into the production process.
expenditures, innovations in areas such as engineering, technology, management and
labor organization based on scientific and technical achievements and best practices, as
well as their application in various fields and areas of activity[3, 169-b].
An innovative approach to education
is a type of interactive or communicative
learning resource in which the standard of teaching is to work in small groups. For
example, the use of the method of working in small groups can accelerate the learning
process, that is, to increase the development potential to a higher level, creating
conditions for deep and wide mastery of the content of the training. It should be noted
that not all active teaching methods are interactive. Interactive teaching methods mean,
first of all, the organization of lessons between students, while maintaining the
connection between the method of learning and mastering the topic. In other words, it
would be correct to understand that the process of interaction and learning is enhanced
from the point of view of a psychological mechanism. An example of this is working
in small groups in the first place.
The main goal of the innovative approach to education is to organize the learning
process in a meaningful way, to help each student to express their views in accordance
with the principle of solidarity in learning subjects, to achieve high efficiency in their
efforts to innovate, share knowledge and solve problems. focused.
When applying an innovative approach to the educational process, the problem
addressed in the lesson is solved in the following order:
- all students are involved in the problem;

- all conditions are created to help the student to express his opinion;
- the auditorium is equipped with all information technologies for the work of
students and students work in small groups;
- a reliable and positive relationship is established between a teacher and a
student;
- consensus is established between a teacher and a student in the discussion
process;
- a mechanism will be developed for each student participating in the training to
express a clear opinion on the problem;
- criteria are set for the reliability, validity, versatility and alternativeity of the
information provided by the student;
- the moderator, who organizes problem-based learning, coordinates the activities
of students during their management.
The following knowledge, skills and competencies can be achieved in young
people as a result of the active application of an innovative approach to the educational
process:
