Abstract
This article examines in detail the option of using a superhydrophobe coating, as a means intended to significantly reduce the risk of ice formation. The obvious ad-
vantages and disadvantages of this kind of coatings are specified. The basis is adopted conditional composition of superhydrophophobed around. The causes of ice on
power lines and conditions contributing to this phenomenon are also separately studied.
