Analysis of the global expansion of the international hotel industry allows us to note
the following important results that need to be achieved at the international level, i.e. in an
attempt to develop HR function in different cultural environments:
- expanding the powers of the team in personnel management, strengthening service
interactions, increasing the importance of teaching intercultural and interpersonal
relationships;
- to raise the level of cultural development and awareness of HR managers and network
managers of the company, as well as increase their willingness to take responsibility in the
international business environment;
- part-time training and professional development of personnel;
- introduction of a client-oriented approach to the concept of personnel management
instead of an approach based on bureaucratic expediency.
Until August 1992, HR and training managers at the head office managed Forte, a
British international hotel chain. However, this structure did not fully meet the company's
requirements. Therefore, the company changed its organizational structure and training
function so that there are now recruitment and training managers on the ground. These
managers are now subordinate to the network administrators

.
At the dawn of its international rise, Forte established a training center and renamed it
the academy. The Academy is located in the London Heathrow Airport hotel. It is
convenient to receive foreign delegations, hold conferences, seminars and trainings for hotel
managers in other countries.
In the labor-intensive hospitality industry, people are the company's most important
asset. Hence, human resource management plays the role of coordinating these powerful
assets and is an important contribution to the diffusion and development of the company's
management system and methodology.
The hospitality business as an economic activity includes the provision of hotel
services in hotels, campgrounds, motels and leisure activities and the organization of short-
term accommodation on a paid basis. The increasing focus on quality in today's business
requires HR to provide the hospitality industry with more qualified staff than ever before.
This service needs to be structured and structured to work in an increasingly complex legal
environment. At the same time, a decent salary for highly qualified personnel must be
ensured. Consequently, the human resource management service must be organized, staffed
and professionally trained to be able to manage the processes that allow the hotel industry
to find its place in the changing business environment.
