FRONT OFFICE AND THE GUESTS: PLANNING FOR QUALITY SERVICE Other long-term challenges are training and coaching employees. Every employee is different
and requires a different level of attention during the training process. I try to spend the proper
amount of training time with each employee before expecting that employee to do the job alone.
If this is not done, employees become frustrated. Training is an ongoing process. There are
always areas for improvement, and it is valuable to work with employees on new tasks to keep
them motivated and to learn from their ideas.
