 is an award-winning fi lm director and lives in 
Los Angeles—but despite that is a pretty nice guy. Before 
earning an MFA from the University of Southern California’s 
renowned fi lm school, he worked as a journalist, a photogra-

Will Hickman
 is a reclusive freelance writer living some-
where in Indiana. He is working on a book about college bas-
ketball, American politics, and the apocalypse.

Hank Green
 lives in Missoula, Montana, where he works in 
front of a computer. He also plays, eats, writes, reads, and 
sometimes sleeps in front of a computer. Come to think of it, 
he doesn’t really even stand up very often anymore. Most of 
the time he’s a consultant for progressive campaigns, but oc-
casionally he’s Lieutenant Mike Powell, available on short 
notice for deadly, covert missions in Nazi Germany.
