utilized to meet a wide range of scenarios. It is such templates that make machine learning

deployment in practice simple, and our presentation will primarily focus on a selection of such

challenges. We've now provided a partial collection of templates.

Binary classification is the most studied topic in machine learning, and it has spawned a slew of

significant algorithmic and theoretical breakthroughs over the last century. In its most basic form, it

boils down to this: given a pattern x taken from a domain X, predict the value a binary random

variable y 1 will take.
