Conclusion
In this article, I have briefly described the struggle of Sultan Jalaluddin Khuwarizam
Shah against the Mongols after the destruction of the Khuwarizam Empire, the arrival of Sultan
Jalaluddin in India after the Battle of Indus, and the Sultan's conquests in present-day Pakistan.
Sultan Jalaluddin was a courageous ruler and a brave warrior. The sultan got the throne when the
empire was destroyed, the treasury was empty, the people were subjugated and the enemy had
spread across the country. Instead of giving up, the Sultan started his new empire from the coast
of Sindh and established his new government over the vast area of Punjab and Sindh in present
day Pakistan. The Sultan named a valley of Kalar Kahar Samarkand in memory of his
hometown, which is still known by the same name. Sultan Jalaluddin ruled these areas for a few
years in a splendid manner which lasted for many years after his return. The Sultan's personality

22
and his history are of course a love affair between today's Uzbekistan and Pakistan that will
never end. Sultan Jalaluddin Khuwarizam Shah is considered a hero in Pakistan as well as in
Uzbekistan and Khuwarizam undoubtedly. Sultan Jalaluddin Khawarizam Shah ruled the areas
of present day Pakistan along with the Sultanate of Khawarizam and his history is actually our
history.
