 International environmental issues
Many environ mental issues are of an international character, 
at times becoming global in a political sense as they involve larger 
territories than the frontiers of countries mark. This refers to such 
major environ mental systems like the Earth’s atmo sphere and the 
World  Ocean;  nevertheless,  scientifically  speaking,  the  biosphere, 
too, is common for the whole of the world. Although it is divided 
into the ecosystems of different countries, the loss of balance within 
an individual ecosystem may have a negative impact on other
