Lesson 59: Where are my shorts? 

 

The aim of the lesson: 

Educational:  to learn to name clothes in English; - to learn to use the prepositions 

of place: in, on and under; - to learn nouns which have only plural form 

Developing: to enable pupils to identify nouns which have only plural form; - to enable 

pupils to use the prepositions of place: in, on, under 

Sociolinguistic  competence:  -  to  raise  awareness  of  the  use  of  nouns  which  have  only 

plural form 

Linguistic competence: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to: - name clothes in 

English; - use prepositions of place to describe where clothes items are ; - use nouns 

which have only plural form. 

Equipments: textbooks, handouts, technical aids, a map of the world, a blackboard and 

a piece of chalk.
