The factors which determine choice of position have to do with the topical

development of the text and the cohesive linking of clauses, as well as the length

of the adjunct. They may be used in front position to emphasise them. This is

especially common with time adjuncts:

Oh 

tomorrow morning, er, we’re going to get up about eleven. 

(tomorrow is a special, different morning)

Thirty-one years we’ve been together. 

(the number of years is important)

Up near the church there was an old tree. 

(helps to orient the listener)
