CHAPTER 1. THE CURRENT STATE OF SENSORS THAT MEASURE
FUEL CONSUMPTION IN MOVING VEHICLES
1.1 Requirements for sensors for measuring fuel consumption in moving
vehicles.
There are many types of energy resources in the world and they can be
divided into two types: conventional and non-conventional.
Examples of traditional energy resources are natural coal, natural gas and
petroleum products (diesel, gasoline, kerosene).
Examples of non-conventional energy sources are solar energy, wind energy,
geothermal energy, and biogas energy.
Today, traditional energy resources are used in manufacturing, transportation,
and many domestic industries. This leads to a reduction in natural resources.
