Would you like to be an artist?

I w ould  love  to be m ore  artistic.  I  can visualise  how  I w ant som ething 

to  look  in  my  head,  but  I just  can ’t  seem   to  m ake  it  happen.  I  think  I 

have  an  artist’s vision w ithout the  artistic skills!

Are there any national celebrations in your country?

W e do have som e national celebrations in my country, such as B onfire 

N ight  on  5th  N ovem ber.  It  is  to  com m em orate  the  failed  attem p t  in 

1605  to blow up the  H ouses of P arliam ent and  King Jam es  I.

What is your favourite celebration?

B onfire  N ight  is  my  favourite  celebration!  T h ere  are  always  lots  o f 

com m unity  events,  with  big bonfires  and  lots  o f am azing fireworks.  I 

also have som e g reat m em ories o f the Bonfire N ight celebrations th at 

we  had  at  hom e w hen  I was  little.  My  D ad w ould  set  fireworks  off in 

the garden  and we  ate  my G ran d m a’s special  hom em ade  toffee.

Do you know o f any celebrations from  other cultures?

I ’ve  h eard   o f o th e r  c o u n trie s’  celebrations,  b u t  I  d o n ’t  really  know 

m uch  about why they  happen.  I w ould  love  to go  to  the  R io  Carnival 

in  Brazil  one year.  It  looks  really colourful  and  exciting!
