Dear Residents,
PARKS AND RECREATION INFORMATION:
Bar Nunn will be celebrating Bar Nunn Arbor Day, Saturday, April 27th. Parks and Rec invite town residents to meet at 8 a.m. at the Fire Hall on Sunset for Opening Ceremonies prior to planting trees. Everyone attending is asked to bring brunch pot luck for all to share. Please come join our Mayor, Council, Parks and Rec members and neighbors in this annual celebration.
Bar Nunn received a plaque following the first completed year as a ‘Tree City’ in 1993, and has received a new ‘leaf’ annually since. This year’s leaf will be recognition of Bar Nunn’s 19th completed year. There are a few trees in the tree farm that may be available for sale for a reasonable fee. If interested contact Laura for more information at 258-0041, regarding trees or other Parks and Recreation questions/comments.
Parks and Recreation Committee would like to thank all who volunteered and/or participated in the annual Egg Hunt. This year’s event was sponsored by these local businesses: Broker One, Chatters Bar & Grill, Lisa Burridge Assoc., Motor Power of Casper, and Titan Machinery. Parks members invite you to stop in and thank these businesses for supporting our kids.
The Town of Bar Nunn is growing, and with growth comes change. Parks and Rec values the input of the community as we grow and change. Please take time to fill out the Parks Recreation Committee Survey PRINTED ON THE BACK OF THIS NEWSLETTER. You may return your survey with your sewer and garbage payment to Town Hall or in the payment drop box at the mailbox unit next to the Campground.
