THE DAY OF KNOWLEDGE

After the First of September — the Day of Inde­pendence, on the Second of September we come to school to study.
The second of September is also an important day in our country because it is the Day of Knowledge. The first day when millions of schoolchildren and teachers go to school. It is the beginning of the sew school year.
Early m the morning boys and girls are ready to start schooling and to get more knowledge of many subjects. Everybody knows that schoolchildren learn many things at the lessons. You also get knowledge from books you read, and from TV programmaes you watch.
I think, you have read some books during your holidays and each of you will tell the classmates about those books you read and your holidays spent in summer.
Of course, we cannot know everything. To know every­thing is to know nothing, but we have to learn as many useful things as we can in our life. Knowledge, as you know, is power, and it helps us to make more useful things for our country.
1. Answer the following Questions.
You come to school every day, what do you do at school?
What school subjects do you like mostly?
Where did you go on summer holidays and, if you went somewhere, what did you do there?
Do you prefer to read an interesting book or to watch TV, and why?
