A note from Fr. David:
Welcome to Summer! As we begin this relaxing and yet busy time, we are reminded that God is never on vacation, and neither should our Faith be. Summer affords us many opportunities to "get away" and enjoy the company of Friends and Family while also making time to keep Mass attendance and faith building a priority. Next week I will be away attending our bi-annual Toledo Diocesan Convocation of Priests being held in Huron. It's a time for prayer, education, information and reconnection with brother Priests and Bishop Blair. See you next weekend!
E
Peter’s Pence
2007 Collection . . . . .
Next week, our parish will
participate in the Peter’s
Pence Collection for the Works
of the Holy Father. Please join in
solidarity with the more than one
billion Catholics worldwide in
providing immediate emergency
and disaster relief to our brothers
and sisters through the pope’s
special appeal. Thank you!
MMAUS DAYS – We want to publicly express our appreciation to the excellent presenters of the sessions during the Emmaus Days recently hosted at St. Boniface Parish. Our qualified presenters included area Pastors, a Deacon, the Rector of the Cathedral, the Directors of Religious Education of our two deaneries, along with personnel from the Diocese of Toledo Office and other experts. They presented 28 2-hour sessions with over 150 p articipants. Remarks on the evaluations would lead us to think that they would have a new appreciation for the two disciples walking to Emmaus. Jesus said to them, “What are you discussing with each other while you walk along?” (Luke 24:17)
ANNUAL OTTAWA COUNTY 4-H CHICKEN BBQ – will be held on
Sunday, July 6th at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds, State Route 163, Oak

in or drive through available. Proceeds from this event help support the
4-H program of Ottawa County. Any questions please contact Kathy
Booher, Ottawa County 4-H Educator at 419-898-3631.
