Introduction
In this course work, we will examine what the very concept of Phonetics is in the process of learning a particular language, its fundamental importance in in-depth language *acquisition, and we will also investigate the most basic aspects of Phonetics in the application of language. This topic has always been the subject of discussion by linguists and phonetics as one of the most interesting, controversial and important areas of theoretical phonetics.
Phonetics is the investigation of discourse sounds and their physiological production and acoustic characteristics. It refers to the configuration of the vocal tract used to deliver discourse sounds (articulatory phonetics), the acoustic properties of discourse sounds (acoustic phonetics), and the way of joining sounds in order to make syllables, words, and sentences (linguistic phonetics).
The main purpose of this course work is a thorough linguistic analysis of theoretical and practical varieties of English pronunciation by revealing the key meaning of all aspects of the phonetic structure of this language.
