Self-determination, adaptation and socialization: ratio and place in a system 
of social psychological concepts
The purpose of the study is the analysis of self-determination in the system of 
the concepts close to this notion, first of all, such as adaptation and socialization. 
The social differentiation of these phenomena and an establishment of the basic 
connections between them has allowed to formulate conceptual representations 
about a phenomenon of self-determination of the subject and to prove the author’s 
approach to research of its maintenance and structure. In a basis of the offered 
approach lays
 the understanding of self-determination
as subject’s search of the way 
of living in the world on the basis of perceived, accepted or formed (created) by him 
in time prospect of base attitudes to the world, human community and to himself, 
and also own system of vital senses, values, ideals, principles, opportunities, abilities 
and expectations.

Психологическая адаптация: функциональные, структурные и динами-
ческие аспекты
В статье рассмотрены функциональные, структурные и динамические аспек-
ты психологической адаптации, предложены подходы к прогнозированию адап-
тационного процесса и формированию интегральных показателей, отражающих 
эффективность адаптации и состояние адаптационного потенциала личности на 
основе системного анализа указанных аспектов. Авторами осуществлен анализ 
основных закономерностей, факторов и механизмов адаптации в контексте раз-
ворачивания адаптационного процесса. Приводятся выводы по результатам вы-
полненных авторами исследований по проблемам психологической адаптации.
