Implementation of the research results.
Based on the studies carried out to 
improve the efficiency of mining compressor units by improving their cooling 
system: 
the device for electromagnetic treatment of cooling water of the compressor unit 
was introduced at the compressor station of the «Karakutan» mine, Navoi Mining and 
Metallurgical Combine (certificate of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine 
No. 02-06-07/7026 dated 07.07.2021). As a result, the formation of scale on the heat 
exchange surfaces of intermediate and end coolers of compressor units has been 
reduced by 80%; 
the developed device for cooling the air sucked in by the compressor was 
introduced at the compressor station of the «Karakutan» mine, Navoi Mining and 
Metallurgical Combine (certificate of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine 
No. 02-06-07/7026 dated 07.07.2021). As a result, the temperature of the air sucked 
in by the compressor decreased by 8
℃
, which, in turn, increases the efficiency of the 
compressor unit; 
the device for softening the make-up water of the cooling system of the 
compressor unit was introduced at the compressor station of the «Karakutan» mine, 
Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine (certificate of the Navoi Mining and 
Metallurgical Combine No. 02-06-07/7026 dated 07.07. 2021). The result is a 92% 
reduction of water hardness.
