Rights
A mechanical engineer (mechanic) has the right to:
Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the organization's management regarding its activities.
Make suggestions for improving the work related to the duties provided for in this job description.
Within its competence, report to the immediate supervisor about all shortcomings in the activities of the organization (structural unit, individual employees) identified in the course of performing their duties, and make proposals for their elimination.
Request personally or on behalf of the management of the organization from the departments of the organization and other specialists information and documents necessary for the performance of their duties.
Require the management of the organization to assist in the performance of their duties.
Relationships (connections by position)
A mechanical engineer (mechanic) reports directly to the head of the structural unit (chief mechanic, other official).
A mechanical engineer (mechanic) interacts with employees of structural divisions of the organization on issues within his competence:

• 
  with a mechanical repair shop: provides requests for repairs;
  
• 
  with the logistics department: participates in the acceptance, adjustment, testing, installation of new equipment;
  
• 
  with the planning and economic division: provides information on the causes and duration of downtime related to the technical condition of the equipment;
  
• 
  with the department of the chief technologist: coordinates the organization of technological processes;
  
• 
  with accounting: provides information on all types of equipment, passports for equipment, specifications for spare parts;
  
• 
  with the Bureau of Rationalization and Invention: gives feedback and conclusions on rationalization proposals and inventions.
