Job Responsibilities
The mechanical engineer (mechanic) performs the following duties:
Organizes work on the rational operation, maintenance, repair and modernization of mechanical equipment, machines, devices and devices, automatic lines and integrated mechanization and automation systems.
Organizes the development of plans for inspections, checks and repairs of machines, mechanisms, equipment, applications for centralized overhaul of spare parts and tools.
Participates in the acceptance, adjustment, testing, installation of new equipment, work on certification and rationalization of workplaces, modernization and replacement of inefficient equipment with high-performance ones, in the introduction of mechanization tools for heavy physical and labor-intensive work, the development of production tasks and measures to increase the level of mechanization and automation of production .
It studies and analyzes the conditions and modes of operation of equipment, individual parts and assemblies in order to identify the causes of their premature wear, analyzes the causes and duration of downtime associated with the technical condition of the equipment.
Develops and implements progressive methods of repair and restoration of components and parts of mechanisms, as well as measures to increase the service life of equipment, reduce its downtime and increase shifts, prevent accidents and industrial injuries, reduce the labor intensity and cost of repairs, improve its quality.
Controls the quality of repair, maintenance and modernization of all types of equipment, organizes accounting for the implementation of these works.
Participates in the development, planning and organization of technological processes, the choice of optimal conditions for their implementation, their management using automation.
Participates in the development of technical specifications and measures for the reconstruction of existing and the creation of new installations, structures, equipment.
Organizes accounting of all types of equipment, drawing up passports for equipment, specifications for spare parts and other technical documentation.
Organizes work to ensure the inspection of lifting mechanisms and other objects of state supervision by Promatomnadzor .
Carries out technical management of the lubrication and emulsion economy, introduces progressive norms for the consumption of lubricants and cleaning materials.
Participates in checking the organization's equipment for technical accuracy, establishing optimal operating modes of equipment that contribute to its efficient use, in developing instructions for technical operation, lubricating equipment and caring for it, and for safe repair work.
Considers rationalization proposals and inventions related to the repair and modernization of equipment, gives opinions on them, ensures the implementation of the accepted proposals.
Ensures compliance with labor protection and safety regulations during repair work.
It studies, summarizes and analyzes specialized literature and other scientific and technical information, achievements of domestic and foreign science and technology on the repair, operation and modernization of equipment, machines, automatic lines, integrated mechanization and automation.
