Rule:  adding  a  prefix  does  not  change  the  spelling  of  the  original  word,  nor
usually the spelling of the prefix, even when the last letter of the prefix and the
first  letter  of  the  original  word  are  the  same:  disservice,  dissimilar,  unnerve,
unnecessary.
