oral/aural/verbal
Oral pertains to the mouth, aural to the ears, verbal to words.
An oral statement means one that is not written down. An oral examination may
be  one  that  is  not  written  down,  or  it  may  be  performed  by  a  dentist.  An
oral/aural  examination  may  be  in  a  foreign  language  to  test  how  well  you
understand  what  you  are  hearing  as  well  as  how  well  you  speak.  A  verbal
statement is a tautology (how would you make it without using words?).

You rob a person and steal a thing, but not the other way round.
Useful mnemonic:
You can rob Rob, and you can steal steel,

Stationery is sold by a stationer. His shop is likely to be stationary .
their/there
Their means ‘belonging to them’.
There means ‘in that place’.
Useful mnemonic:
They left t HEIR money to their son and HEIR .
