To prepare the presentation follow the guideline below:

1. Identify an issue within your topic and conduct an inquiry to explore and understand the context of the issue under the local perspective, here a local context can be identified as your personal issue, an issue of your family, or your community (LO 1; LO 2);

2. Discuss arguments/reasons for and against regarding the issue under the local perspective referring to 2 – 3 sources (you can use research papers, recommended local news websites etc.) (LO 1; LO 2);

3. Relate the issue to global perspective and discuss arguments/reasons for and against regarding the issue under the global perspective referring to 4 – 5 sources (LO 1; LO 2);

4. Evaluate these arguments/reasons and reach your own judgement/conclusion (whether you are for or against) on the issue (LO 1; LO 4) and suggest actions (at least two) to be taken regarding the issue.

5. Respond to questions asked by students and examiners. (LO 2)

Each speaker will have to make a 4-5minute speech. Note that each student will be marked individually.
