Introduction
English is considered to be one of the most widespread languages in the world. Nowadays, it is the factor of globalization of political views, international businesses as well as education. One of the basic functions of education is preparation of students for life. This function in 21st century may be participation in an information rich society, where knowledge is regarded as the main source for socio-cultural and politico-economical development of countries and nations. Information rich societies are developed and dominating and they are controlling the information throughout the world. Information encompasses and relies on the use of different channels of communication, presently called information and communication technologies and would be incorporating better pedagogical methods to cope with such emerging situations. Educating youth is educating our nation. The research work is dedicated to the widely studied branch of our educational system learning foreign languages
Today, language learning students are considered successful if they can communicate effectively in their second or foreign language, whereas to decades ago the accuracy of the language produced would most likely be the major criterion contributing to the judgment of a student’s success or lack of success. There is little doubt now that these developments in language teaching called the proficiency movements by some and the promotion of functional or communicative ability by others have moved us away from the goal of accurate form toward a focus on fluency and communicative effectiveness.
So, the English language becomes one of the most communicative languages of the world. Because a global language English is being used as the language of science, business and technique. So, our education needs to develop the English language teaching at secondary schools as it is mentioned above. It requires most qualified and knowledgeable English language teachers from us. As a future English teacher it is pride for me to contribute with my qualification paper into the effects of organizing teaching process and I hope this research will be helpful effectively for teaching English in the future.
Education gives creative activity to the spirituality of the people of Uzbekistan. It introduces all the best features of the younger generation, continuously improving professional skills. Experience of older generation is transferred. It’s the youth with its talent and eager for knowledge begins the formation and spiritual comprehension. The education of our children's spiritual and physical growth and development, with independent thinking and open-mindedness, worthy successors starting our noble deed is not only a great happiness, but, first of all it is the main guarantee in the all-round progress of the country, increasing the authority in the international arena..
Moreover, we all know that taking care of the younger generation, the desire to raise a healthy, harmoniously developed person is our national character. A person living in this sacred land, throughout his life fighting, working, do spare no efforts to make their children educated and virtuous people, to see their happiness and prosperity.
In the century of globalization and increasing competition, in which we live now, only as a result of persistent and determined progression ahead on the way of cardinal reforms and modernization we can achieve the perspective goal, which we have set before ourselves, i.e. to join the ranks of developed democratic and flourishing states, provide our people worthy living standards.
At present time we are living in global process of the world. Nowadays to Communicate with any foreign company, organization or any firm, we are required to know a foreign language, especially English, because it is a first rate language of the world now. As based on this social process, a lot of new decrees of improvement of the foreign languages are being enforced by the government of Uzbekistan. For instance: President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev signed a decree On Uzbekistan’s Development Strategy. The document has approved Uzbekistan’s Five-year Development Strategy for 2017-2021 which was developed following comprehensive study of topical issues, analysis of the current legislation, law enforcement practices, the best international practices, and following public discussion. Also its envisaged that university modules, especially in technical and international areas, will be offered in English and other foreign languages at higher education institutions.
Thanks to the efforts of the head of our state directed at multiplying and perpetuating the rich heritage of great ancestors for posterity, Uzbekistan has been developing and elevating its standing in the world. In our country much attention is paid to the improvement of living conditions of the people and our esteemed President Sh. Mirziyoyev announced the year 2022 as "The Year of Ensuring human interests and development of the mahalla".
Today Uzbekistan is a member of a number of leading international economic and fiscal associations, among them Organizations for economic cooperation, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Application for membership have been submitted to International Monetary Fund, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Labor Organization, The World Health Organization and other Associations. Uzbekistan has also joined the Non-Aligned Movement and Forwarded applications to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and other international organizations.
On December 10, 2012, The First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the Resolution "About Measures for Further Improvement of System of Learning of Foreign Languages". In accordance with the document, beginning from 2013/2014 academic year, the study of foreign languages, mainly English, started from the first grade in the form of gaming and speaking lessons, and in the second grade children began to learn the ABCs, reading and grammar. In higher education institutions, especially in technical and international faculties, certain core subjects began to be taught in foreign languages.
We know that the graduates of higher establishments usually defend their qualification papers at the end of their studies at the higher establishments and my qualification paper is devoted to the problems of the important phonetic phenomenon of intonation and the newest information about it.
The actuality of the theme: Stress is a greater degree of prominence of a syllable or syllables as compared to the other syllables of the word. A particular combination of varying prominence of syllables in a word forms its stress patterns.
Word stress can be defined as the singling out of one or more syllables in a word, which is accompanied by the change of the force of utterance, pitch of the voice, qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the sound, which is usually a vowel. English is considered a stressed language while many other languages are considered syllabic. It means that in English, certain words have stress within a sentence, and certain syllables have stress within a word. And it is this stress that allows our ears to understand the meaning and also to pick up the important parts of the sentence. Though these suprasegmental units have been more or less investigated in English, there has been many scientific research devoted to the study of suprasegmental features of phonetics in Modern English and to the effective methods of teaching in English.
