The total area of the zone is 564 ha. And distance between Navoi and Tashkent – 490 km,Samarkand – 153 km,Bukhara – 110 km.

The decree signed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on May 15¹¹ established Navoi region as a free economic zone for innovative, high-tech, export-oriented and import-substituting production until January 1, 2030. FEZ validity may be extended.
The main directions of development of Navoi region as FEZ are the development of innovative activities, attracting direct investment, the establishment of clusters for the production of chemical and construction products, the development of transport and engineering-communication infrastructure and others cited. Enterprises that have received the status of participants of "Navoi FEZ" are exempt from the following fees:

• 
  from land tax, income tax, property tax for legal entities, single tax for micro and small enterprises;
  
• 
  Exemption from customs duties (excluding fees for customs clearance) for equipment, raw materials, supplies and components imported for own production needs, creation of new jobs, as well as modernization, technical and technological provided that it is used for the purposes of re-equipment, construction of production facilities, purchase of raw materials and supplies necessary for their own production needs;
  
• 
  customs duties (except for customs clearance fees) for construction materials that are not produced in the country and imported as part of the project, according to the list formed in the prescribed manner.The above benefits are provided for a period of 3 to 10 years, depending on the amount of investment:

  From $ 300,000 to $ 3 million - for a period of 3 years;
  
• 
  From $ 3 million to $ 5 million - for a period of 5 years;
  
• 
  From $ 5 million to $ 10 million - for a period of 7 years;
  
• 
  $ 10 million and up - for a period of 10 years with income tax and a single tax payment of 50% lower than current rates.
  

In addition, the Public Investment Programs 2020-2021 and No. PQ-4937 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 28, 2018 according to the resolution "On measures to implement investment programs for 2021-2023"¹², the total amount of 388.5 mln.$, it is planned to implement about 30 projects worth US $.The volume of investments in the FEZ is expected to increase from year to year.In general, for the successful operation of the Navoi Free Economic Zone the following factors are present:
- availability of various raw material resources and their not less than 30%
possibility of deep processing at the level of localization;
-large markets related to the sale of manufactured products availability;
-development of transport infrastructure;
- availability of great human potential;
- diversified through the involvement of high technologies in the region the possibility of forming an environmentally friendly industrial base.
Experience gained in this area and production in Tashkent region and resource utilization, with businesses in the Fergana Valley it is important in the future to establish stable economic ties given that in 2012 the "Angren" special industrial zone it was decided to establish. SIZ "Angren" was established, first of all, as an industrial city in its time but this potential was centered on one side, in its time of the cities of Angren and Ahangaron, which remained based on production serving to further develop the industrial system being reformed today does. This, in turn, is additional work based on modern technology places are created. Thus, this special economic zone is Tashkent. The two largest regions in the province are the cities of Angren and Ahangaron and their to increase the welfare of the population living in the surrounding local settlements also makes a worthy contribution. Another advantage of this SEZ is that it covers the cities of Angren and Ahangaron in the north-east of the country and their environment areas. The Angren logistics center is also located in the area, adding to the potential of the new industrial zone will help.
