Spanish 2 
Spanish II is designed to give students a review of the present tense, also 
covers the past tense, the imperfect tense, the future tense, and the 
Imperative tense. Students continue to practice, drill, and master the 
language through daily conversations, readings, memorization of Bible verses 
and the study of grammatical samples. Students read easy novels in Spanish 
and learn a Gospel presentation of a color bracelet. 
Prerequisite: C (73%) or above in Spanish 1.

Spanish 3 Honors 
This course is designed to give students a more comprehensive 
understanding of the elements of the Spanish language and a view of 
highlights of Hispanic Culture. The year study provides an opportunity to test 
and practice communication modes. The course will enable students to 
concentrate on grammatical structures. The course is designed to develop 
proficiency in speaking the language. 
Prerequisite: C (73%) or above in Spanish 2.

AP Spanish 
AP Spanish Language and Culture is equivalent to an intermediate level 
college course in Spanish. Students cultivate their understanding of Spanish 
language and culture by applying interpersonal, interpretive, and 
presentational modes of communication in real-life situations as they explore 
concepts related to family and communities, personal and public identities, 
beauty and aesthetics, science and technology, contemporary life, and global 
challenges.
