In addition, the NMIMR confirmed that the knowledge acquired from the workshops 
was well utilized by the participants through a follow-up survey on all 74 participating 
district laboratories.  These participants were assigned as technicians of the 
HIV/AIDS sentinel survey and other surveillance programs.     
Through these activities, the NMIMR contributes to improving the capabilities of 
diagnostic institutes and also provides accurate HIV testing for other nations.
