Objectives:  to introduce the new words;
to consolidate the structure “there is/are”
STEP 1: introduce the words “week, month, year”. Translate 
the words. have the pupils repeat the words in chorus, rows and 
individually. 
STEP 2: Ask the pupils to look at the table. say ‘four weeks 
in ...’ and invite them to complete your words with ‘a month’. 
Then say ‘twelve months in ...’ and invite them to complete your 
words with ‘a year’, etc.
STEP 3: Ask the pupils to look at the picture. Read the bee’s 
sentence and translate. Then have the pupils repeat the sentence 
after you in chorus.
