Objective:  to present and practise the Present Simple 3rd per-
son singular in the negative form
STEP 1: Ask the pupils to look at the pictures and read the 
sentences. Ask what they understood. help if necessary.
STEP 2: Draw their attention to the sentence “he doesn’t like 
lazy boys.” Ask what this sentence means. elicit some answers 
and summarise that it is the 3rd person singular negative sen-
tence. establish that in order to make sentences about somebody

STEP 3: Draw the table on the board. Ask the pupils to look 
at Page 40 and find the sentences which Grandpa says and help
