CONTENT OF THE PROCESS OF LEARNING FOREIGN LANGUAGES»
Abstract
: Research in the field of intercultural communication highlights the
importance of cultural awareness in English language teaching programmes. The
strategies provide learners an equal amount of opportunities to practice language as
the communicative process. Understanding culture allow us to give the right
meaning to each word, in the larger context, because we will be able to think in the
foreign language. By understanding cultural differences while learning a language,
also we will find new ways to express these items. So culture is essential when
studying languages.

The pace of our life has also accelerated significantly with development of the
history of humanity. The majority of processes in the modern world are spending up
rashly: from sending massages instantly or to make a trip to another country in the
shortest time. It even reflected to human population that has been rising triple since
1950s. Actually, the exchange of information is becoming the most important
element of all occurring processes because of growth and speed of the
contemporary world.
Although, today most people are able to speak in one foreign language.
Because it is just a necessity. Individual who can posses most skills of
995
communication as well as reliable information can have a huge advantage in today’s
world. However, knowing only language is not enough; person has to know the
cultural characteristics of the country of the studied language in order to
understand subtleties and nuances of speech which are important. For instance,
generally in order to sense of humor and usage the language in state of native. In
this case the perception of foreign language requires special approach in full of it’s
measures.
There are some issues in the study of overseas languages at the level of school
in different countries of the world:
-
Lack of native teachers or educators of language;
-
Presentation of generalized topics in books which no longer consist in
general with using in real circumstances;
-
The main emphasis which done on learning grammatical components of
language;
These problems can be resolved when we use subject techniques that
stimulate speaking skills of pupils. Literally, components of the language learning
process should be oratory, intercultural and interpersonal communications.
Moreover, public speaking attainments represent whole art that many pupils do not
know in the stage of native. Becides, it is necessary to take into consideration and
change mental skills of pupils in relation to one or another language. The more
quantity of languages can give us more benefits. All over the world does not exist
especially only one language which all human beings can use.
In totally, there is no the best way to learn a language yet. Indeed watching
movies or listening to music becomes useful method for mastering the language
even with using subtitles. As well as, it is essential to read more books in the target
language and appreciate unknown words, learn and use them in the speech.
Especially, learning languages includes constant process which requires daily
996
learning, otherwise, all efforts will be wasted. Today there is a great number of
teacher-imposters, people who clearly understand foreign language, however, did
not get professional training on the methodological part of process. It is obvious
that if someone is a master of language, however, this knowledge might be
valueless in teaching at absence of professional skills and methods for more
productive and effective in handing knowledge to young generation.
In addition, nowadays, through much has been done in terms of intercultural
education in FL methodology, there are not enough theoretical and practical
attempts to interlink the FL methodology with the mother tongue and second
language methodology for building up an integrated approach to gradually
developing students as participants of intercultural communication no matter what
language is used for this purpose. And what primarily needs to be done is
constructing an illustrative scale demonstrating the general and specific descriptors
of successful international and intercultural communication terms of the
components of intercultural communicative competence. It is important to stress
that the development of the teaching theory for intercultural communication
through co-learn languages and cultures in education environment.
In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that language learning is based on
dynamics of the relationship between teacher and student. So teachers have to be
professionals, responsive and patient. Undoubtedly, all of these teachers acquire
through experience and professional training. Because teacher is a person who
should spark interest and desire for learning foreign language. Actually, It is
complicated in learning but easy to communicate.
