Language objectives
Listening: SWBAT to understand the structure of telling where something is somewhe.
Vocabulary: SWBAT utilise suitable descriptive vocabulary for parts of house
Speaking: SWBAT ask where's that? And answer It is in a....









Bag, ruler, crayons, notebook, copybook, book, sharpner, pencil

Materials used: Laptop, speakers.


Handouts: visual aids, realia.

Objective: To introduce the topic of the lesson to the students.
Topic: Where's that?


Teacher’s instructions:

  • Tell the students that they are shown a warm up video and asked question Did you..? They need to tell the sentwnces in English.



Student directions.

Tell the students that today, we are going to talk about question Did you...? And learn how to answer that question and acquire new words that regard to house, apartment and adjectives to describe them.


Objective: to provide students with opportunity to have fun and interesting lesson. It is only warm up.

Explanation of the Activity 2

Teacher writes vocabulary for today's topic on the board and students write them down on their copybook.







Activity 2
Play a game!!!


Teacher instructions:
Students ,using adverbs of frequency, makes sentences in the past tense based on their dauly routines and habits. It's a fun game to energize students.



I never mop the floor.
I sometimes wash the plants
He usually washes the dishes.
Inalways clean the room


Activity 3.
Explanation of the main grammar rule.
Objective: students should be able to use past simple in their daily soeech with family amd friends.



We cleaned our room
You washed the dishes
She moped the floor
Zunrad sweeped the floors.


Then it's turn to expain how to make question with past simple. Question is formed with an auxiliary verb Did, by putting it in the beginning of the sentence.

Did you do homework?





Answering to this question is by S+ did for positive answers, S+didn't for negative answers

Objective: improving their listening skills by watching this video, learning by heart and sing it in the next lesson.

Reflection

For my lesson with groups 2002 and 2004 , I was given the topic “Did you clean your room?". It is captivating and interesting topic. Mostly everyone is interested in how to ask a question Did you ...? And answer it in a Yes, I did, No, I didn't .... way. In my Lesson Plan i tried to teach the names of school objects with the help of pictures and even videos. With help of descriptive adjectives which are express the character traits, I taught students to express and describe the school objects that they like and don’t like . I have designed my lesson plan according the structure which was taught to me. My lesson plan consists of warm up activity, introduction, formal insruction , pre-activities, while –activities, post-activity, feedback, homeassignment and reflection. In all stages i used different methods for integrated skills; for warm up activity i used KWL charts, for pre-activity i used the activity with matching. For while-activities i used filling with the missed letters. For post- activities i used video and it helped them to improve their listening skills. I think lesson and all activities are useful and effective.
