1. Organizational moment.

Warm up. (A short exercise)

Hello pupils. Today is the 19t^h of November. Who is on duty today? What’s the weather like today? What’s the temperature? Who is absent today?

2. Revising the phrases and checking homework from the last lesson.

3. Introducing new theme. “Writing: A birthday card”.

Pupils, today we are going to talk with you on theme “Birthday card”. This is very exciting theme. You are going to revise the Past simple. Writing a birthday card is the main aim for today. You’ll make your own birthday card and talk about your last year’s birthday party.

4. Writing:

Now, you should create your own birthday card. Try to make it more colourful. After finishing your birthday card you will come to the blackboard and talk about your birthday card. Moreover, you should talk about your last year’s birthday party.
