Introduction (10 minutes)	T. ask pupils (medical) about the use of idioms or phrases in their work related to their job	Learners may give their answers in their mother tongue and if it is possible in English.
Main part (60 minutes)	Activity1. Idiom quizzes- medical and health T. explains some familiar and everyday use of idioms in order to make them active, gives some new examples. Then T. distributes handout1-idiom quizzes. Pupils try to find, guess the correct answer Activity 2. Work in pairs T. tells pupils to work in pairs and compare their answers. Then T gives the definitions to the idioms and pupils check their answers from the content. Activity 3. Exercise 3-test Next activity is testing. Before doing the test, T. gives idioms and their definitions. Then gives a list of test and pupils choose appropriate idioms. Activity 4. Reading In reading task all the common verbs from the article are removed, pupils try and put them back correctly.	Learners compare their answers and discuss with group.
