The aim of the lesson:
Educational: - to develop 21st century skills - critical thinking, creativity, innovation and information literacy, etc.
Developing: - to develop pupils’ reading comprehension skills

The Procedure of the lesson:

I. Organizing moment: - Greeting.
- Checking the register
STEP 1: Ask the pupils to read the story about “The needle tree” one more time.
STEP 2: Ask the following questions for understanding:
1) Where did the two brothers live?
2) Was the elder brother good? Why?
3) What happened with the older brother in the forest? Why?
4) Who helped him? Why?
5) Why did the magic tree give gold apples?
STEP 3: Have a class discussion on the moral of the story: It is important to be kind to people and other people will be kind to you. Ask if there are any other morals like that in Uzbek/Russian, etc.
STEP 4: Ask the pupils to read the story about “The strange bird with two heads” one more time.
STEP 5: Ask the following questions for understanding:
1) Why was the bird strange?
2) What did the left head do? Why?
3) How did the left head feel when the right head asked it for food?
4) What did the right head do? Why?
5) What happened with the bird? Why?
STEP 6: Have a class discussion on the moral of the story: If you are not friendly, all the family feels bad. Ask if there are any other morals like that in Uzbek/Russian, etc.

Pre-Activity
Ask your pupils to draw picture of their family on paper. They use their knowledge taken from preivous lessons. Ask them to use crayons or color pencils

Modern life is very stressful. That’s why we should keep to a healthy lifestyle in order to not feel bad. A healthy lifestyle consists of active life, healthy diet, avoiding stress and without bad habits. If you are active, you feel better. You may go to a gym or a swimming pool, do some other sport or simply walk more. Sport is a good way to reduce stress and improve your state of health. It is also possible to exercise or walk with someone. If you train with friends, you will enjoy yourself even more. 



A diet is also very important. You should eat regularly and choose fresh and healthy food. It is good to eat enough fruit, vegetables, and meat. Don’t eat too much sugar or sweet drinks. Sugar is bad for your heart and can’t fill you for a long time. Finally, you should try to avoid stress or at least take it easy and don’t be too nervous. Thus, it is not so difficult to lead a healthy life. It may become your good habit. As soon as you improve your quality of life, regulate your diet and physical exercises, you will see good results and feel yourself much better.

After finishing ask them about their drawings, about health. Gather all drawings and materials put them on their own portfolio pack which all portfolio materials will be gathered. And all pupils should have their own.
