Know / Want to know / have known. This technique Know / Want to know / Have known is a graphical organizer, which lets having a research on a certain topic or part. It's convenient to use the table. For example:
Unit 1. A Dolphin and an astronomer. (SFC, p=1)

What do we want to know?

What did we know?

What have we know?

1. Dolphins are clever animals.
2. Dolphins save the people's lives.
3. Dolphins are friendly animals.

1. Some information about dolphin's mental abilities.
2. Why are dolphins considered to be clever?

1. Dolphins have bigger brains in proportion to their body size than human have.
2. Dolphins make sounds which have different functions.
3. There are special institutes which investigate dolphins.
4. Dolphins are highly intelligent creatures.

Cooperative search. This technique has existed for many years. This approach requires the reading of the rich - in- content text, deserving thinking and various interpretations. To start this discussion, the teacher puts the several (4 or 5) questions. The questions must be the questions, touching the interesting problems and closely connected with the text. The teacher usually writes the questions on the blackboard and gives the time to write down the answer. Answering the questions in written form demands thorough thinking and gives the opportunity to each pupil taking part in the discussion. The students share their ideas and the teacher helps them to explain and develop their ideas and argue with each other but the teacher doesn't give his answer. Cooperative search helps the students discuss and solve the problems together
